This was how i spent my first day of new year 2009! On a ship!! The MV Doulos is the world's oldest active ocean-faring passenger ship.. It is also known as the floating bookshop, bringing knowledge, help and hope wherever it goes! It was previously known as the SS MEDINA, the SS ROMA and the MV FRANCA C. haha.. Nice names eh.. oh ya, and its two years younger than the TITANIC!
However, sad to announce that the ship will be decommissioned/not sailing anymore, so this is the last time it sets in Kuching or Sarawak as i may say.. Hmm.. This is sadly the first time ive ever been on board (never had the chance to visit it all this years..) But im glad i did and i got myself a bag, keychain and a book for old time sakes.. haha.. Enjoy the pictures..!
