Indian Food @ Bombay Masala, Kuching

>>>>>Hi all, this is an update! Im posting up all the food pics which i wasnt able to do in the past month.. Was very busy and so, i wish to make it up to all of you readers out there! Stay tune! Update starts from 23 November right up to early Jan 2009!<<<<<<<

Indian food at Bombay Masala Restaurant, Kuching. Being half indian myself, i find that i cant live without having a bite of some spicy food and not forgetting the many indian dishes too, such as the ever famous 'roti canai', tosai, murtabak, naan, and so so so many more..

Here, i have tosai (thin layer of 'bread' or rather a mixture of some special inidan beans ('ullundu') with blended rice which is kept overnight for fermentation..) and murtabak (diced chicken with curry or sambal in thin layer of roti canai). Enjoy!

Popiah & 'Pancake' & Char Kueh

After a lovely swim at the MBKS pool, dinner was for sure, and so this time JALAN SONG food heaven was the place to be, haha.. Well actually the road's name is Jalan Song, but since there is so many stalls around, i guess they just named the place after the road itself. Haha..

I had some 'new' kind of food there, except for my favourite char kueh of course, char kueh is actually fried wheat & rice flour cakes with bean sprouts, salted white carrots and lots of eggs.. Some are sweet and some are spicy, you may order as you prefer actually. I'll explain in the captions of each picture.. Enjoy!

Fried Char Kueh with Bean Sprouts and White Salted Carrots & Eggiee!!! This is my favourite because when you bite in, the crunch of the salted carrot and bean sprout with the wheat/rice flour cake is just great.. hehe.. there is 'sambal' or spicy sauce on the side for you to dip in.. Just nice, love this.. Cost: RM3.00

Vegetarian Popiah (Soft skin).. I didnt really like this because my usual or normal popiah would be the one that is fried.. haha.. Guess if you like soft popiah, this would be delectable. Cost: RM2.00

Mix Tuna Eggie Pancake! It was quite strong because the taste of the black pepper was too overwhelming.. Hmm.. I'll give it 3 over 5 stars!! Cost: RM2.60

Cheese Eggie Pancake! This was great, the cheese was damn delicious! I guess if you use imported cheese, anything taste good. Haha.. Still, with this one, the taste of black pepper in this is one is also VERY strong.. Cost: Rm2.40
